Haiku

Inspired by the traditional Japanese haiku, my kiln-formed glass artworks embody the poetic form's structural elegance. The design's lines abstractly represent the 5-7-5 syllable pattern, while the colour palette – red and white, evoking the Japanese flag, and black, reminiscent of traditional ink. Each piece is a harmonious fusion of poetry and glasswork, abstractly capturing the essence of this ancient literary tradition.
