Worcestershire Open Studios Art Weeks 2026

It's my first time exhibiting at a venue for Worcestershire Art Weeks.
I do live out the area, but I've been invited to take part as a guest artist.
There will be a group of artists and makers showcasing their artworks at this wonderful rural venue.

Made in Leamington 2026

I will be exhibiting again at Made in Leamington this year. It's a Design and Crafts Fair, only showcasing 3D artworks from talented local contemporary makers. It takes place in the stunning Assembly Room at the Royal Pump Rooms.

Society of Designer Craftsmen Exhibition
'Uncommon Ground' at Oxo Gallery
4th to 15th November 2026
After the success 'Uncommon Ground' at COLLECT earlier this year. The 'Society of Designer Craftsmen' are following on the theme for their annual members exhibition at Oxo Gallery. This will be the first time that the society have exhibited at the iconic OXO Tower on the Southbank in London.
Artworks from my latest collection 'Aztec' have been selected to be part of 'Uncommon Ground'. I'm excited to be key member of the exhibition team again, curating the show in such a stunning location.

ARTS IN THE COTSWOLDS - Christmas Fair

This will be my first time in taking part in 'ARTS IN THE COTSWOLDS' Christmas Fair. This festive art event will showcase original art and contemporary craft from local artists and makers.

What do you do all day?
I was one of six artists selected from my region, to take part in a creative research project.
'What do you do all day' is joint venture with Culture Central in Birmingham and Warwick University.
Over a few weeks I documented my creative practice and my everyday life with imagery and videos.

Selected for 'Find a Maker'
My application for 'Find a Maker' has been successful. I will join some of the most talented makers on the 'Find a Maker' website. Over the years I have exhibited at a number of Contemporary Craft events organised by CRAFT Festival, so I'm delighted to be part of this craft community.
Adam is Awarded a Fellowship by the Society of Designer Craftsmen
Adam Hussain is awarded a fellowship by the ‘Society of Designer Craftsmen’ in London. This award recognises his achievements in the discipline of kiln-formed Glass. It celebrates the excellent quality of his handmade work and commitment to craft. The society said that Adam’s work enables the Society to show future generations of makers what is possible with a dedication to craft.
The ‘SDC’ is the oldest multi-disciplinary Society in the UK, it has some of the finest, most exciting and respected designer makers of today and since founding in 1887. The Society has some of the most prominent names in design and craft as past members, including William Morris and Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Adam said “I am so pleased about becoming a fellow of the Society, I have been a member since graduating in 2008. I’ve exhibited my artworks at ‘SDC’ exhibitions around the UK, including at ‘The Mall Galleries’ in London on a number of occasions. Its a wonderful Society to be a member of, as the quality of the craftsmanship from its members is outstanding”
