Enclosures
is a fused glass round piece from my series, "From Above."
Crafted entirely from sheet glass, the surface is adorned with delicate glass lustres that catch the eye. Each component is meticulously hand-cut and then smoothed on a grinding wheel, ensuring a flawless finish before being assembled into the final composition.
The artwork carries a distinct handmade charm, giving it a tactile, organic presence. Throughout the day it interacts with light in captivating ways: at certain angles it reflects a subtle shimmer across its surface, while at others it allows gentle transmitted light to pass through, casting soft, ever-changing patterns. This dynamic interplay of reflection and translucence makes Enclosures
a living piece that evolves with its surroundings.
