Coventry - Fused Glass Wall Art - Blues

This intricate handmade wall panel is made from 'Bullseye' glass sheets and 1mm stringers (rods).

It was inspired from a photograph taken from the top of the council house at Friargate One, looking down on Coventry City Centre. I decided to use different tones of blue glass for this artwork, as blue is strongly associated with Coventry.

The panel is installed on metal fixtures 20mm from the wall, allowing transmitted light and shadows through the piece, this becomes part of the artwork. This statement piece of art would look amazing in any home or business environment.
