Bali - Fused Glass - Curved Light Catcher - Multi Colours

This statement piece artwork 'Bali' is beautiful. The intricate design is bespoke and inspired from a photograph, that I took at sunset on holiday in Bali, Indonesia.

Each individual segment of glass is hand cut and all the edges are cold worked, before it is fired in the kiln. The curved design creates stunning transmitted light through the glass, creating so many wonderful colours. I have used lustres on the surface of the glass in some areas, resulting in iridescent effects.

This light catcher artwork, looks wonderful on a piece of furniture or in front of a window.
